About us
At Triple P International (TPI), our mission is to strengthen families through a flexible range of positive parenting programs designed to support parents and carers of children aged 0–16.
Based on four decades of ongoing research, the Triple P – Positive Parenting Program was developed in Australia and is now used around the globe. Our programs take a positive, non-judgmental, strengths-based approach to parenting. They offer tools and strategies for parents and carers to build a loving bond and secure attachment with their children, support their healthy development and emotional wellbeing, and respond calmly and consistently when problems happen.
As well as helping families, Triple P programs address broader social and health issues, helping to break intergenerational disadvantage, reduce pressure on waitlists and demand for specialist services, improve youth mental health outcomes and create stronger communities.
Our approach aims to promote the sustainable wellbeing of all families, whether they live in a city or rural or remote area. We also recognise that parents and children may have experienced trauma, with our programs able to benefit all families.
As the world leader in evidence-based parenting programs, Triple P programs have been selected by governments and organisations in over 30 countries to ensure access and support for families across cultures, including First Nations families.
TPI is a Certified B Corporation™ meeting the highest standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability.
Triple P is ranked by the United Nations as the world’s most extensively researched parenting program with more than 870 trials, studies and published papers, including over 200 Randomised Controlled Trials and more than 430 Evaluation Studies. Worldwide, more than 112,700 practitioners from over 80 countries have participated in Triple P training.
The Triple P – Positive Parenting Program was created by Professor Matt Sanders and colleagues from The University of Queensland’s Parenting and Family Support Centre – a world leader in the development, implementation, evaluation and dissemination of population-based approaches to parenting and family interventions.
Triple P – Backed by research. Proven by parents.

We can help determine the best program for your area
Discover our programs
We offer a flexible range of over 25 programs designed to provide general parenting support or meet specific needs and challenges. Our programs can be adapted for delivery in different contexts whether online, in person or in local communities, and are available in brief or more intensive formats.
For example, health care professionals might be interested in our program for new parents to support the transition to parenthood. Educators might like to host a seminar to support their school community, choosing from a range of topics such as building resilience. Those who work closely with families might find our individual programs helpful in engaging parents to achieve one goal at a time. Or our more intensive programs can be combined with parenting-skills programs to help those with more complex needs.
The diversity and flexibility of Triple P programs enable individuals and organisations to select the interventions best suited to their context.
