Does your teenager love the camera?

Triple P International is developing an online version of the Teen Triple P – Positive Parenting Program, and we’re looking for families in Southeast Queensland to appear in various segments.

MORE IMPORTANTLY, YOU CAN HELP OTHER FAMILIES

Online delivery of Triple P allows us to reach many more families, including those who are geographically isolated or time-poor but who still are looking for parenting support and ideas.

WHAT’S INVOLVED?

It would mean inviting a small film crew into your home for a morning, afternoon or evening sometime during the next month or so. You and your teenager/s would act out some commonly-occurring family interactions, and would be provided with help and coaching to do this. The filmed segments would then be used to illustrate Teen Triple P principles in the online version of the program.

WHEN WILL THIS BE HAPPENING?

Filming dates are yet to be set, but we’ll be making every effort to work around your family, school and work commitments. We’re unable to offer any payment for your participation in this project, but will provide you with a recording of your contribution.

WHAT IF ONLY SOME FAMILY MEMBERS WANT TO TAKE PART?

If you’re interested it would be great if all of your family members were willing to take part. However if some prefer not to, that’s OK. But as a minimum we’d need at least one parent and one teenager aged between 12 and 16 years to agree to the filming. Your written consent is also required.

I’M TOO SHY

That’s okay. But please tell anyone you know who might be interested.

SURE, SOUNDS LIKE A BIT OF FUN!

If you’d like to find out more, please email us or phone 3236 1212 or 0404 091 424 during business hours, Monday to Friday. Thanks and we look forward to hearing from you.
